The UEIOPCUA 1200-MIL Cube, an advanced military/aerospace-specified data acquisition and I/O platform housed in a compact 17.5 " x 8.1" x 7.0" chassis, is designed to meet MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 standards (including all power supply requirements) and supports virtually any input, any sensor and any interface I/O. Designed for use in the toughest environments, this new RACKtangle is also ideal for a huge assortment of commercial applications, including use on oil drilling platforms and refineries, heavy machinery, outdoor test stands and any other I/O application that will be exposed to the elements. All connectivity is through ROHS compliant 38999 connectors.
The ruggedized chassis, weighing 22 pounds and typically consuming less than 40 watts, is easily configured as a stand-alone I/O controller or embedded, programmed and hardened for integration with high density, multifunction data acquisition systems. Its highly advanced architecture provides users with a simple and universal software API to construct, add and reconfigure applications based upon the I/O layers. It is sealed to at least IP66/NEMA6 standards. In addition, no rotary cooling fans are used in the design, which maximizes MTBF and mechanical reliability. All internal printed circuit boards are conformal coated to ensure the highest reliability.
UEI's OPC-UA compatible I/O product family has been designated the UEIOPC-UA series. It offers an unprecedented combination of flexibility, high performance, low cost, ruggedness and small size, all fully supported by your standard OPC-UA client. Based on UEI's popular Cube chassis, the UEIOPCUA 1200 allows the installation of up to 12 DNA series I/O boards and is an ideal solution for a great many I/O applications.
UEI-OPC-UA series supports the following profiles and facets:
Server Profile: Embedded UA Server profile
Transport Profile: UA-TCP, UA-SC, UA Binary
Security Profiles: SecurityPolicy - Basic256Sha256, SecurityPolicy - Basic256 and SecurityPolicy - None
Access Types: Data Access, Historical Data Access
System configuration is made easy by the UEI-OPC-UA's intuitive, easy to use web/HTML interface. A screen capture of the web interface is shown below. The web interface also supports the OPC-UA Historian functionality.
