UEI's OPC-UA compatible I/O product family has been designated the UEIOPC-UA series. It offers an unprecedented combination of flexibility, high performance, low cost, ruggedness and small size, all fully supported by your standard OPC-UA client. Based on UEI's popular FlatRACK chassis, the UEIOPCUA 400F-DC is DC powered, allows the installation of up to 4 DNF series I/O boards and is an ideal solution for a great many I/O applications.
UEI-OPC-UA series supports the following profiles and facets:
System configuration is made easy by the UEI-OPC-UA's intuitive, easy to use web/HTML interface. A screen capture of the web interface is shown on the following page. The web interface also supports the OPC-UA Historian functionality.
There are currently over 40 different I/O boards available providing the functions listed below:

With this many different I/O boards available, there is sure to be a configuration perfect for your application.
UEI's OPC-UA web based I/O configuration tool makes it very easy to configure your system and prepare it to connect to your OPCUA server.
The UEIOPCUA 400F-DC is small (1.75" x 7.5" x 16.5" (1U)) and rugged. It has been tested at 3g Vibration and 100g Shock. Its small, low profile 1U footprint and ability to survive harsh mechanical stress makes it a perfect solution in many industrial applications. No longer dependent upon Windows, our OPC chassis are standalone OPC servers.OPC-UA systems are ideal solutions in a wide variety of measurement and control applications in industries such as: Oil & Gas, Automotive, Energy Systems, Food & Beverage, Water Treatment, Chemical Processing and many more!
United Electronics Industries products can easily be configured to work with OPC Unified Architecture for process control with enhanced security. In this video we briefly demonstrate the features of OPC and how to easily set it up.
In this Master Class, we look at two popular Industrial Communication Protocols, Modbus, and also a newer protocol, OPC-UA. Takeaways include providing an overview of the two protocols, highlighting the benefits and limitations of each, and demonstrating UEI hardware using each of them.
