Reliability, Availability, Serviceability & Deployability – The 4 Elements Needed For Successful Data Acquisition and Control Applications
Reliability, Availability and Serviceability (RAS) was first coined by IBM to describe the durability and strength of their mainframes and hardware. These three attributes are still 100% applicable today and must be considered when specifying, designing, or deploying embedded systems. In this Webinar, we will review the matrix of RAS contrasted to the Processor, Software, I/O, and Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) requirements in embedded data acquisition and control projects. To this we also will add a fourth attribute, Deployability or “time to deployment” (RASD), as we highlight real world examples that span all the attributes.
Attendees will get a usable RASD matrix as a takeaway to help you plan out your systems.
