OCTOBER 1, 2024 - This message is to inform our customers that the UEI EtherCAT® (ECAT) product line is backed by UEI’s 10-year availability guarantee. Please note that as of October 1, 2024, the 10-year availability period has begun, and we cannot ensure delivery of UEI ECAT products beyond October 1, 2034. Additionally, UEI ECAT is not recommended for new applications. The design has been frozen to ensure that existing customers can continue to receive compatible units in the future. However, no new I/O boards will be introduced, and we do not plan to update the firmware or software to support new operating systems or computer platforms.
