The collaboration aims to offer Concurrent Real-Time's RedHawk Linux® RTOS and Simulation Workbench with UEI's flexible avionic data acquisition and control hardware, specifically targeting iron bird systems testing and flight simulation applications. This initiative seeks to enable customers to develop and deploy advanced real-time systems with enhanced precision and reliability for these demanding aerospace testing environments.

This technical exploration aims to evaluate opportunities for guaranteed deterministic behavior and assess how parallel processing capabilities might handle increasingly complex models.
The partnership specifically targets sophisticated aerospace testing applications, where precise control and reliable data acquisition are essential. The integration of these technologies could provide significant advantages in “iron bird” testing, allowing for more accurate simulation of flight systems and enhanced validation of critical aerospace components. These capabilities could extend to other areas of aerospace ground simulation and systems testing, where the combination of real-time computing and advanced I/O capabilities is crucial for system validation and verification.
Customers can utilize real-time computers with RedHawk Linux RTOS and the Simulation Workbench framework, communicating with UEI PowerDNA I/O and avionics for their simulators and test stands. This integration aims to provide a more streamlined approach to complex simulation and testing scenarios.
